Granite Crusher Run

Granite Crusher run stone is a quarried material that can be crushed to exact sizes. It has the fines left in it which causes the stones to bind together and makes it the perfect driveway gravel.  This particular gravel is quarried on the South Shore of Nova Scotia and has a brown/taupe hue with quartz sparkles.

One-inch minus aggregate is a versatile crushed stone product consisting of particles no larger than 1 inch in size, with fines (smaller particles) included. This blend of coarse and fine materials ensures excellent compaction and stability, making it ideal for various construction and landscaping projects.

How to Use:

  • Base Material for Driveways and Pathways: Spread the aggregate evenly over the area, ensuring a consistent layer. Compact it using a plate compactor or roller for a durable and stable foundation.
  • Backfill Material: Use one-inch minus aggregate to fill gaps or stabilize retaining walls, providing a strong, well-compacted base.
  • Drainage Applications: In areas requiring good water filtration, this aggregate can aid in proper drainage while maintaining structural integrity.
  • Erosion Control: Use as a layer to prevent soil erosion on slopes or around foundations.
